Welcome to The Speechie Hub

"Early intervention is the key to prevention"

The Speechie Hub is a paediatric Speech Pathology service based in Mount Isa, Queensland.
Speech Pathologists, also known 'speechies', provide assessment, therapy and management across the lifespan, from newborn babies right to the later stages of life. At The Speechie Hub, we provide therapy to children aged 0-12. 

Miss Grace

Grace is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) who graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2019 and has experience providing Speech Pathology services to the Mount Isa region and surrounds. 


Grace has worked in the education system, kindergartens and in the community setting and is certified trained in:

  • The Hanen Program - It Takes Two to Talk®
  • The Hanen Program - More Than Words®
  • The Hanen Program - Learning Language and Loving It®
  • PECS®
  • PROMPT
  • PODD® 
  • Sounds-Write
  • Lidcombe Program
  • Cued Articulation
  • Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme (NDP3)® 
  • Key Word Sign - Basic Workshop
  • Key Word Sign - Intermediate Workshop
  • 28-hour Foundation Course in Orofacial Myology
  • Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP)
  • SOS Approach to Feeding

 

Grace believes therapy should be fun, evidence-based and collaborative and has a passion for improving the accessibility of Speech Pathology services in rural and remote areas.



Miss GEorgia

Georgia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) who graduated in 2022 and has experience providing Speech Pathology services to the Mount Isa region and surrounds. 


Georgia has worked in the community setting, providing intervention across the lifespan in schools, kindergartens and aged care centres. Georgia is certified trained in:

  • Cued Articulation
  • Key Word Sign - Basic Workshop
  • Read3  
  • SPEAK OUT!
  • Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP)
  • SOS Approach to Feeding
